Christmas card box

I started out making this letterbox for my Christmas cards last year, but never finished it until now…

Quite nice to have on the table in our hallway…. It fits 6×6 cards as well, so it’s quite spacious.

I have cut out different parts of Pion papers to get the flower frame.

A little close up.

It’s our engagement day today and we usually go to a Christmas market every year since that was the place where we got engaged. However, it’s -17 (1.4 F) outside today so we skipped it.

Hubby keeps telling me that both of his cats (me and the furry one) are so much alike. We absolutely refuse to step outside in cold weather for instance. That is not completely true. Yesterday I sacrificed myself and went outside to take some photos for a Maja thing that will come up on the new Maja blog January 1st. Secret, secret. :)

Isn’t it beautiful? It’s so nice to watch as long as you don’t have to BE there.

We’re going to see a stand-up show with my favourite comedian tomorrow. Naturally it’s going to be a snowstorm with 1.5 ft snow. It’s usually 1½ hours drive, so this could turn out to be an interesting ride.

Have a great weekend!
